Meet My Team
In order to give my clients superlative service, whether
buying or selling, I've put together the best real estate team
in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area! Our unique team system
insures that each of our clients receives the full attention
they need to make their home buying or home selling experience
the best they've ever had!
Ann Benton - Buyer Specialist
When you're looking for that special property, the right agent
can make all the difference! Ann is a full-time buyer specialist
who is completely familiar with the real estate market and whose
job it will be to find you just the right home! Once we have
determined what type of property you are looking for and enter
your information in our Buyer Profile System, she will send you
all the properties on the market that match your criteria and
will update you weekly (or daily, if you prefer) on any new
homes that come on the market. Often you will receive the
information on new listings before they are advertised!
Diana Barton - Administrative Assistant
As Martha's most senior team member, my job is to oversee our
office operations and to provide guidance and assistance to
other team members to assure excellent service to all our
clients and customers. Additionally, I serve as closing
coordinator on the team. this means that once your house is
under contract, if you are one of our sellers or if you are a
buyer and your offer to purchase has been accepted, I will
assist you through the closing procedures. I will be the one to
double chedk and make sure all the paper work is properly
completed on your sales contract. I will also monitor the
process of the mortgage, if any, and will take care of ordering
home inspections, surveys, termite reports and discuss all of
this activity with you. I will make sure that all conditions of
the contract are satisfied prior to closing to insure a great
experience for you at the closing table.
Kitty Chivers - Marketing Coordinator
As Martha's "Marketing Coordinator", it is my job to organize
all of our marketing efforts and to track all of our advertising
responses. This way we can be sure we are reaching the right
customers for your house. I create the ad pages for The Pilot
newspaper, Seven Lakes Times newspaper, The Real Estate Book,
The Pinehurst/Southern Pines Guidelines pamphlet, Pinehurst
Magazine and various other publications. I also monitor our
personal website, www.marthagentry.com, as well as other
websites where we have a presence such as Realtor.com. In
addition, I oversee specialty advertising such as billboares,
out-of-town advertising, our monthly newsletter, Marketwatch,
which tracks local real estate market activity.
Debbie O'Connell - Listing Coordinator
When your home is on the market, you know how important it is to
be kept fully informed! As our full-time listing coordinator,
Debbie will take care of all the hundreds of important details
that go into putting your home on the market. She will take care
of all the pertinent information about your home that goes into
our multiple listing service, take the pictures, create your
color brochure and get the information on your home out to
interested buyers and other Realtors. She will be the one that
follows up when your home is shown to give you quick feedback
and will also give you a monthly updates on all activity on
sales and listings in your neighborhood.
Ernie Kurasz - Field Coordinator
Ernie is the indispensable member of our team who helps make all
our jobs easier! He's the one who will put up the signs, have
keys made, check all our vacant homes weekly, take important
documents to attorneys and other Realtors and at least a hundred
more crucial things every week.
